Industria Vetraria Valdarnese, or IVV, was founded in 1952 by 30 glassmakers, as a manufacturing cooperative. Their focus was to be on the maintenance of established traditions by teaching their craft to new generations and on the exploration of new approaches to Italian glassmaking. The IVV factory is still located in Valdarno, in the heart of Tuscany, and it continues to employ many young and experienced glassblowers, most of them associated with the cooperative.
Our mind is blown -pun intended- by the beautiful process of melting and shaping colorful glass, their creativity and the clear elegance of their products. Like the Italians that they are, their pieces are classy and fun, this is something you can not fake.
