IVV was founded in 1952 by a group of master glassworkers in San Giovanni Valdarno, a scenic Tuscan town. Their name is an acronym for Industria Vetraria Valdarnese, which pays homage to their cherished craft and beloved home. Due to their constant development and refinement, IVV has a well-earned reputation as one of Europe’s leaders in blown glass. IVV combine their collective expertise with innovative designs and extensive research into materials and technologies to produce their pieces.

Hand blown glass production, like this clear and gold oval tray, is an intimately person process, and the outcomes are wholly reliant on the skills of the artisan. The makers at IVV draw not only on their personal experience, but that of their teachers and artisanal ancestors. IVV takes two (2) to three (3) weeks to prepare this decorative tray. Once the designer has completed product development, you will receive an email confirming that your purchase is on the way. This email includes a tracking number that allows you to verify the status of your order.
