Nothing will light up a home like this rainbow linen napkin. Inspired by one of nature’s most beautiful sights, this stunning handpainted napkin will transform your table and set a joyful tone for many meals to come.  The 100% linen napkins are created to complement Summerill & Bishop’s Rainbow Linen Tablecloth. Each napkin is hand-painted in London.

Linen is a timeless fabric, loved for its unique, irregular look. We specifically soften and relax our linen during production, perfectly balancing its natural, textured roughness. Due to this, your tablecloth and napkins may have some small white spots and areas of fading on the printed surface, which is characteristic of our technique. These irregularities are completely normal and make each item truly unique.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Wash at 140 degrees or lower on a regular cycle. It’s best to avoid ‘eco’ or longer cycles.

Never soak for longer than 10 minutes, and avoid using whitening products.

Tumble dry at 160 degrees for a soft effect, and 190 degrees for a more crushed finish.

Ironing the full cloth is not recommended, as it will remove the linen’s lovely crumpled texture, but ironing the edges can give it a sharper edge.

Summerill & Bishop

Infuse your home with some tasteful foreign flavor with this beautiful rainbow linen napkin from Summerill and Bishop. This handmade cloth napkin’s timeless style is the perfect accent for your table setting.

Summerill & Bishop was founded by two talented home cooks and entertainers, June and Bernadette. They were inspired to make their own tableware because nobody was making what they wanted. No matter how hard they tried, they could not find tableware that was both beautiful and functional.

Their plan, written on a notepad at a local London cafe, quickly grew into a thriving independent business. As a result of their efforts, they now have many loyal customers around the world. Despite their success, their store is still in the same quiet, leafy West London street where they opened in 1994. Customers love to drop by to have some tea, enjoy a chat and get the latest styles.

Summerill & Bishop’s unique and vibrant objects are the result of an intimate collaborative process. This involves June and Bernadette working closely with the skilled artists and artisans who design and create their pieces. Thanks to this, their studio in Notting Hill, London, is a hive of colorful activity, new ideas, and designs. They believe that if you wouldn’t have a tablecloth on your wall as art, it shouldn’t be on your table.

June and Bernadette are always changing their collections to reflect new seasons, new tastes and new moods. This makes each piece part of a very limited run, and more special for it. Moreover, they’re always testing out new techniques and materials from around the world. They believe that every tablecloth should be perfect because the table is the heart of the home. It is this attention to detail and perfection that makes Summerill & Bishop a unique, must-have addition to your home.
