Namely, Xaquixe recovers the oil from hotels and restaurants in the city and uses it to fuel their furnaces. For more than three years, Xaquixe has been developing a biodigester to use organic waste for energy generation.
Moreover, Xaquixe washes and crushes used glass bottles to produce their pieces: glassware, jugs, mezcaleros, and more.
