Every single place we go, we take a little piece with us. And we have been to places! That’s why there’s no beating our little -global- souvenir shop. Italian ceramic dishes, Moroccan pottery, textiles from El Salvador, and cool Mexican drinking glasses, we’re telling you, there’s nothing like it.
The thing about good souvenirs is this: they come with a story. What makes them truly meaningful objects is that each time you see them on your shelf, pass by them at the office, or use them in the kitchen, there’s a little part of your brain that travels back to the time you got them.
This happens to us too, since we have a close relationship with the people that made the objects we sell at Maison Numen, this deja vu is even stronger.

The Good Italian Ceramic Dish
We see this stunner, and it takes us straight to Positano, that’s where Ceramiche Sberna is from. The workshop was founded by Francesco Sberna and his wife Maria. Now their two daughters, Anna and Franca, manage the business to carry on the work and legacy of their parents.
The hand-painted designs evoke the classic and colorful landscapes of the island, the naïf look reminds us of the great taste of Italian food eaten at home.

The Proper Shot Set
We feel very strongly against having bad memories related to tequila. So you had a bad experience as a young twenty-something that knew nothing about life and how to drink properly? Fix it!
Drink good tequila on good shot glasses! These by the Xaquixe company are hand-blown from recycled glass in Oaxaca, Mexico, ¡salud!
The Iconic Green Bowl from the Moroccan Souk
This handcrafted green Moroccan bowl comes from the Southern Moroccan village of Tamegroute, but it made its way to us through a souk in Marrakech. It was love at first sight.
That hypnotizing party of greens, ranging from earthy olives to rich pines, are the result of variations in a carefully calibrated traditional mixture of magnesium, copper oxide and barley flour.
This is the real deal.
The Fun Placemat Set
This hand-painted placemat set is so beautiful it barely needs a story, but it has one! Made by female artisans from El Salvador, the Toucan Placemat set is one of the many iconic pieces they make from home.
