Composed of fifteen spheres carefully crafted from clay and hammered copper and a shade moulded from clay, the Tacámbaro lamp is a synthesis of style and traditional crafts that will be eye-catching in any room. Designed by Taller LU’UM and produced by the talented artisans of the Zautla community in Puebla, Mexico, it brings together cutting edge contemporary aesthetics and traditional craft techniques.

Committed to spreading awareness of the artisanal wealth of Mexico, Taller LU’UM is a creative project which focuses on producing gorgeous interior design objects. With contemporary designers working alongside artisans trained in the traditional techniques of Mexican crafts, Taller LU’UM acts as a communicative and collaborative bridge between communities, traditions, cultural identities and design aesthetics, whilst always maintaining a strictly fair-trade policy.
